BRAD RICHARDSON

I began crafting hardwood furniture at an early age. I hand-forged furniture hardware, chisels and other necessary tools and found myself enjoying my time at the forge more than at the table saw. I began bladesmithing in 2015 and started a small company called Timberlee Forge. What started under the deck of a backyard, has grown to reside in a private 1,200sqft shop. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft and chose to rebrand to Richardson Forge in an effort to truly put my name on the products I was making.

As an avid outdoorsman, I’m grateful to have been offered the opportunities to participate in two seasons of History Channel’s “Alone” as well as season 6 of “Forged In Fire. In 2020, I published my first book “Making Your Own Bush Knife” a beginners guide to bladesmithing. I enjoy sharing content to my Youtube channel (linked at the bottom of my website) and greatly appreciate my 38k subscribers.

My wife and I own Ambush Candle Co. which operates out the shop next-door to Richardson Forge. We also owned Compass Rose Outpost, a brick and mortar store that we managed for 5 years before closing to pursue our candle company full-time. This descision has also allowed me to focus more energy towards Richardson Forge.
